Violet Huerta, MBA, MAPC, LPC
I’ve held many titles in my career but the most recent one, and the one I am most proud of, is being called “Mommy”. I have a two year old daughter, who keeps me on my toes, and I am absolutely in love with her.
I truly enjoy working with people and feel passionate about the growth and possibilities life has to offer. My life has not been easy and this is what helps me relate to my clients. I have been in the mental health field for 13 years, and in that time I have provided mental health counseling, personal development coaching, and executive leadership.
I am an independently licensed professional counselor (LPC). I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University, an Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University. Mostly recently in 2018 I earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Arizona State University.
For fun I like to listen to music, watch movies, and I am a self-proclaimed “foodie”. I am also a Pinterest fanatic and enjoy the DIY projects.

As a native of Phoenix, I absolutely love Arizona. We have been blessed with a growing family, our son who is almost 3 years old, our daughter who was recently born on July 1st and two faithful dogs as constant companions.
Working toward my educational goals, I’ve received a B.A. in Sociology from Arizona State University, with a specific interest in families and have received an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University and fully intend to further my education to include my Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision.
During the past 8 years, I’ve been gaining knowledge and experience with various populations in mental health and especially enjoy working with children and their families. I currently hold my Associate License in Counseling. I am a level 1 certified “StoryPlay” therapist and truly enjoy utilizing play therapy to help clients meet their goals.
My husband and I strive to share as much time as possible outside adventuring with our family. Our favorite “get away” is in the Flagstaff area where you can find us sledding down a snowy bank or camping out in a tent under a starry summer night.

I have a true passion for assisting women in finding hope and healing through utilizing various therapeutic approaches to assist in this journey.
